GREEN BIRD COLLEGE

Green Bird College was established in February 2006 under the ministry of education and vocational training with registration number C.U 63 and National Examination Council of Tanzania (NECTA). Initialy the college started with certificate and diploma in teaching until 2010 when it expanded to business department which offers certificates and diploma level todate.

Currently, the college operates under National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) with full registration Reg No.REG/TLF/065 .

College enrollment capacity is 1200 students.

COLLEGE DEPARTMENTS
Green Bird College has the following departments fully operating

• Education department
• Business department
• Nursing & Midwifery department
• VETA department

EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
This is fully registered with number REG/TLF/065. Programs under the department:

• Certificate in early childhood education
• Certificate in primary education

BUSINESS DEPARTMENT
The department came into operation in 2012. It acquired its full registration on 27^th May 2015 with number REG/BMG/044. Programs offered under business department:

• Certificate in Procurement and Supply
• Certificate in Accountancy
• Certificate in Business Administration
• Certificate in Information Technology
• Diploma in Procurement and Supply
• Diploma in Accountancy
• Diploma in Business Administration
• Diploma in Information Technology

NURSING AND MIDWIFERY DEPARTMENT
The department came into operation in 2016. Programs offered under Health Science:

• Certificate in Nursing and Midwifery
• Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery
